CPS 113
I had fun making this card because these papers are just too cute! It is G.C.D. Studio and it is so sparkly and fun that I want to keep playing with it! I used this week's sketch from CPS. I'm very annoyed from work today, so I'm going outside to have a margarita and will be back later for some cardmaking (if I'm not drunk). Have a great night everyone!

Got Sketch #81
It is a beautiful summer, um, I mean spring day here in New Jersey. I was outside and couldn't take the sun for too long because it was just too hot. Last night I made a card using the amazing sketch #81 over at Got Sketch?.
I wanted to make a "happy" card and I thought these colors worked.

Hello Kitty!!
I'm not sure if I mentioned this earlier, and if I haven't, I don't know why, but I bought a Cricut Expression for myself last month. It came with 4 cartridges and I already bought 3 more! One of them was the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge and it is so adorable. I'm not one of those crazy in love with Hello Kitty but I did love it when I was a kid and still think it's cute. Then I started seeing things made with it and when I went to Michael's this week and it was on sale for 39.99 I HAD to have it!
This butterfly card was made from the same cartridge using the card feature.
I'm off to go play with my new carts....

Card Patterns and more
We've had a couple of color challenges in our little Paper Therapy group over at Scrapbook.com. Last week's challenge was to use pink, green and black. I used a this week's sketch at Card Patterns to create this card.
I made the lollipop flower and then covered it with stickles so it's nice and sparkly. Those litte green dots aren't brads; they are actually just little candy dot things. I can not remember who makes them but I want more! If anyone knows, please tell me. I am terrible at keeping packaging or notes on these things. *UPDATE* I found out what they are! They are called Candy Dots and they are made by Pebbles. I bought them (and just bought more!) from Treasured Scrapbooking. Go there to see Eva's amazing kit reveal too!
The next card started out as one that I loved; but I feel it is missing something but I have spent hours playing with it and I give up. It had read only, "It's your day," and it was where I put "Heard" that was driving me insane. So I stuck that there; it's better but I don't love it. I made this one for our blue, orange, and yellow challenge.
That's all for today. Hope everyone is having a great day!

My mojo has returned!
It has been about a week since I was able to create anything. I know it happens once in while but I HATE when it happens. This weekend I was able to create 2 cards and I'm looking forward to creating a few more tonight. Both cards were created from the card kit I received in our monthly swap from my friend Christy at Scrapbook.com. The first one was inspired by the watercolor challenge at the Cuttlebug Challenge blogspot. This is first time I've ever used these Martha Stewart watercolor markers that I went out to buy when the challenge was active. Better late than never! I enjoyed them and plan on using them more often.
.
The other card is just pretty and girly and I used a rub on which I so rarely do.
I covered the CTMH rubon with Star Dust stickles which are my favorite!
Hope everyone is enjoying the holidays and the weekend.
