Card Patterns 18

We've finally had some sun and I got some pool time this weekend...yay! I'm glad I got a few cards done too. The first card is based on Card Patterns Sketch 18. The sketches and DT work is quite inspirational week after week. I loved this sketch because of the 3 spaces for different patterned papers. I love mixing papers and this sketch was perfect to help me do that. I haven't quite "mastered" the mixing/layering of pp so this sketch was great. One of my favorite card makers is Moralia(Carla). I love the way she combines papers. Actually, I believe she is on the DT at Card Patterns. Anyhoo, here is my card:

I used my Cricut Storybook Cartridge for a lot of this - Sentiment, squarish tag things (what do you call them?) PP - MME Bohemia Bliss collection, Sentiment pp - MM Passport Collection

I also made this simple Father's day card using a small kit I got from a friend. A few of us on Scrapbook.com exchange monthly card kits.

Thanks for stopping by!
Michelle :)

I'm so glad you got to enjoy some pool time! But can you believe all the rain this week? My son has had 2 outdoor events cancelled so far!

These are beautiful cards, Michelle! I certainly think you have mastered the art of layering and I've always admired your ability to combine papers! These cards are fabulous!
